First Choice Investments focuses on purchasing land and commercial property with a view of obtaining an uplift and adding value through the planning process and delivery of commercial or residential units.

BEAUTS Salon, 28-30 Yorkshire Street

This project saw the ground floor shop area renovated with a new front door, windows, ceiling, and insulation added. On the ground floor, also at the back, old walls were removed, and a new kitchen was added. All the walls were demolished on the first floor, and new wiring, flooring and windows were added alongside a new ceiling with insulation. Also, where three rooms existed, now there is an open-plan floor area. The top floor roof was seriously damaged with a collapsed ceiling; this was repaired, insulation added, and new windows installed.

FORMER RBS BANK, 1-5 CHURCH TERRACE

This project changed the use of the first and second floors from financial services to residential use, including four residential apartments. Planning was submitted in November 2019 and was approved in February 2020. This development is a prime example of First Choice Investments' main goal: to acquire, develop and repurpose sites for various strategies. As this site was repurposed into a residential project, on completion, it was handed over to our sister company, Express Housing, which provides Social housing and supported living accommodation.

As you can see from the pictures, much work was put into bringing the site up to scratch. Once planning is approved, First Choice Investments works to building regulations standards to ensure the accommodation is safe and habitable. Great care is taken when fitting appliances and choosing colour schemes and designs.
